Author Information

This page contains guidelines and information about submitting the different types of submissions. Please submit your contribution according to the deadlines.

Submission Guidelines

Full papers accepted for the Springer book. Please prepare your paper in our DOC template file. You probably already used this document for preparing your paper for review. Submit your paper as DOC file (not PDF) by email to info@lbs2011.org. Don't put too much effort in layouting the text, as it will be further processed before printing. For images it is sufficient when they are integrated into the DOC file. However, separate image files can improve the picture print quality. Whenever you have images in vector format, please send them as separate files (EPS, SVG, PDF, EMF, WMF). Please note that the deadline for submission is very strict for the Springer book submission – there will be no extension!

Contributions accepted for the digital proceedings. You can submit a full paper or an extended abstract, depending on your preferences. These contributions have to be submitted as final PDF to info@lbs2011.org. They will be published in the proccedings as they are, without any further editing by us. The only exception is that we will add page numbers and bibliographic information. It is therefore very important that you strictly follow the guidelines in our DOC template file (this is version 4 – if you used an older version before, make sure to change the line spacing of “Heading 1” and “Title” to “single” and the text alignment to “left”). Please note that you are responsible for any copyright problems that might occur with your contribution and that the digital proceedings will be published online.
Additional information (added 10 August 2011): We were asked what the difference between a full paper and an extended abstract is. Therefore we made a DOC template file for extended abstracts.

Oral presentations. All contributions accepted for the Springer book or the digital proceedings are invited to give an oral presentation at the conference – details on that will follow.
